Start of final year

I am now in the third week of my third year; only  less than a year until I'm graduated!! I am currently looking at animals like snails, slugs, tortoises, caterpillars and some other bugs. I have developed a style which uses an acrylic paint background and then stylises by using black pen to add detail.
I have also created some textile stitched animals like the one opposite.

Knit developments

My knit developments are shown below.

I added buttons in the first picture shown

 and did some fringing in the second and third. The fringing I added was material and wool.

Creative sketch book

                                                   
At the end of my second year I looked at rain forests and palm trees, then developed them into knits. I really like the texture and colour shown in the palm tree and the parrots.

Gift bag and length

 I developed some of my childlike drawings of flowers for a gift bag and a length. I used Photoshop to develop and create the designs.  I used straight repeat designs as well as half drop.

Trends

During February this year I drew some flowers in two different styles - children's and stylised.
